Our Darf Insect Complete Dry Dog Food - Hypoallergenic is a cold-pressed dry dog food which contains only high quality ingredients. This is an innovative food with black soldier beetle larvae and fish from the North Sea. These ingredients result in this food being an environmentally friendly alternative to typical meat-based dog food/
This food is gluten-free, and contains no less than 60% fresh protein therefore makes a great alternative to a raw diet. As a result of the high meat content, this food is softer than other dry dog food making it more palatable for dogs who struggle to swallow.

My 3yr old GSP was on another cold pressed insect dog food. It did slightly help with her allergies but never stopped it (constant paw licking & recurring ear infections). They stopped making it just a few months ago and I did my research and found Darf insect dog food. It’s a mystery simpler, cleaner dog food with loads of ingredients. This has been an absolute game changer. For 2.5 years I’ve done everything to help my dog with her allergies. I’ve started decreasing her Apoquel and she’s coping fine without it.
We have started transitioning our olde tyme bulldogge onto this food. He is absolutely loving this food, his poops are easier to pick up, less smelly farts. His tear stains have completely disappeared, no dirty ears and such a beautiful shine to his coat! He already has so much more energy (he already had loads) and is a lot less bloated!! Cannot thank Sabre team enough for helping me with portion sizes as well and fab communication… we are now on subscription for his food! I worried slightly about feeding something different but they wouldn’t sell a dog food that is unsafe… you can also try before you buy with sample packs which we did do and now I wouldn’t look back…. Switched my little terrier to this from original recipe after he was diagnosed with colitis and turned his nose up at the “prescription diets” he eats this most of the time as is which is good for him.
His condition is improving now he’s on grain free, vegetables and insects only.
The other dogs will clean his dish for him if they were allowed

Too soon to really give a review but initial impressions are dogs love it and no adverse effects on changing from dried food. Dogs don’t like only being given 50% of quantity of previous food but all in all atm very good.
I was struggling with food for my GSD with having a grain allergy and constantly battling with a yeast infection, itchy ears, greying skin and yesty paws i got told about Darf and then came across the hypoallergenic version of it, I have had my working dogs on this now for a good few months and it is the best food I've ever purchased, it not only gives them enough energy and nutrition but it has helped keep them lean and conditioned.
Absolute game changer for my frenchie. This food has stopped his itching and yeasty ears. Please never stop making it!!
